Japan’s aid to Ukraine tops $20 billion, Zelenskyy says

Ukraine has received more than $20 billion in assistance from Japan since February 2022, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

Speaking to journalists, Zelenskyy said Japan’s support had included energy assistance, humanitarian aid, and a range of other programs, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.

“Support has been provided since the beginning of the war, and it has been very strong. More than $20 billion in assistance has been allocated. This is one of the largest amounts of aid in the world. It includes energy assistance, humanitarian support, and many different programs,” Zelenskyy noted.
