Jordan’s FM pledges support for Syria’s stability in meeting with Sharaa Photo
Ayman Safadi, Jordan’s deputy prime minister and foreign minister, met Syrian President Ahmad al‑Sharaa on March 12 during a visit to Damascus, where the two sides discussed strengthening ties and supporting Syria’s recovery.
Safadi led a high-level Jordanian delegation to Syria and conveyed greetings from Abdullah II of Jordan to President Sharaa, describing the talks as productive and reflective of the longstanding fraternal relationship between the two countries, Caliber.Az reports.

In a post on the social media platform X, Safadi said Jordan was committed to deepening historic ties with Syria and fully supporting the Syrian government as it confronts ongoing challenges and works to rebuild a safe, stable and unified country after years of conflict and destruction.
Safadi also expressed appreciation for the discussions and reception hosted by Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al‑Shibani and other officials.
