Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk regions suffer heavy damage from Russian strikes
During the night of November 27–28, the Kherson region of Ukraine came under massive attacks by Russian forces using drones, aircraft, and artillery.
Alexander Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, posted on Telegram that dozens of settlements were targeted.
The attacks damaged critical and social infrastructure, destroyed residential buildings, a shop, a mobile communications tower, a planetarium, a private garage, and vehicles. In total, 15 private houses were affected. Thirteen people were injured in the strikes.
During the nighttime drone attack, regional air defence forces shot down two Shahed-type drones. Additionally, four people were evacuated from liberated settlements.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, Russian forces again used drones to strike settlements. A drone was sent to the Synelnykove area, damaging two private houses, a car, and a gas pipeline in the Petropavlivka and Slovianska communities.
According to Vladyslav Haivanenko, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, rescuers in the evening retrieved the body of a 61-year-old man from under the rubble of a destroyed house in the Pokrovska community; he was killed by a cluster aerial bomb (CAB). A 52-year-old woman was also injured.
Information from the Nikopol community reports that the Russian army carried out strikes using FPV drones. Regional defence forces managed to shoot down three enemy drones in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
It is worth noting that on November 26, Russian forces shelled settlements in the Kherson region, injuring seven people, including a child.
Russian troops targeted residential areas with artillery, aircraft, and drones. Damage was reported to four apartment buildings, 21 private houses, a volunteer headquarters, a shop, outbuildings, gas pipelines, and one car.
