Kyiv commends Baku for giving Ukrainian children chance to heal, rest

Ukraine has expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for its continued support of rehabilitation programs for Ukrainian children.

Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Olena Kondratiuk thanked Azerbaijan in a post on the social media platform X, Caliber.Az reports per local media.

"We are sincerely grateful to Azerbaijan for the support of Ukrainian children and opportunity for them to live at least some time under a peaceful sky," Kondratiuk wrote.

The statement comes after a new group of 30 Ukrainian children arrived in Baku as part of a rehabilitation program. The children are expected to spend the next two weeks in Azerbaijan as part of the initiative.
