Kyiv reports strikes on Russian communications and military infrastructure
Units of Ukraine’s Defence Forces carried out a series of overnight strikes targeting key Russian military infrastructure, including air defence systems, radar installations, and communications assets, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.
According to the statement, among the targets hit was a Tor surface-to-air missile system near Stary Oskol. Ukrainian forces also struck a Yastreb counter-battery radar station located in Novoselovka in Russia’s Belgorod region.
The General Staff added that a mobile communications complex, Redut-2US, was damaged in the area of Frolovske in Ukraine’s Donetsk region, along with a communications hub in Kinski Rozdory in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In addition to these strikes, Ukrainian forces targeted a Russian materiel depot in Perevalne, located in the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, as well as a repair unit in Hromivka in the Kherson region.
