Kyiv’s Novus warehouse destroyed in Russian attack, four dead
A Russian missile strike targeted Kyiv, destroying the logistics centre of the Novus supermarket chain.
According to Ukrainian media, the attack left a large crater and caused extensive damage to the warehouse.
Four people were killed — all drivers who had arrived to unload goods — while at least three others were injured. Most of the centre’s employees were outside the facility at the time of the strike.
The logistics centre spanned 40,000 square meters and served as Novus’ sole distribution hub, consolidating seven smaller facilities. The company has officially confirmed that the warehouse is currently out of service.
Novus stated that despite the destruction, there will be no shortage of goods in its stores. Logistics routes will be reorganised to maintain operations across all outlets, and efforts are underway to restore the warehouse as quickly as possible. The company is currently assessing the full extent of the damage.
