Kyrgyzstan, Russia conclude Center-2026 joint tactical exercises PHOTO
Joint tactical exercises “Center-2026” involving servicemen from Kyrgyzstan and Russia have concluded in Kyrgyzstan.
The closing ceremony was held on August 17 at the training centre of military unit 20636, Caliber.Az reports per Kyrgyz media.
The exercises were held from August 11 to 17 at the Edelweiss training ground. Around 500 servicemen took part, along with up to 100 units of weapons and military equipment, as well as combat FPV drones and army aviation from both countries.
During the active phase of the drills, the servicemen practised coordination and command of units, carrying out combat training tasks, and using weapons and military equipment under various conditions.
Following the exercises, the command praised the high level of training among the servicemen and the cooperation between the two contingents. The objectives set for “Center-2026” were fully accomplished.
Distinguished servicemen were presented with medals and valuable gifts.
