Leaders of anti-colonial movements sign Baku declaration against French colonialism
The Baku Declaration on the establishment of the International Freedom Front has been signed at the first congress with the participation of leaders of movements for the independence of neo-colonies from France.
It was signed by representatives of 14 countries suffering from France's colonial policy, Caliber.Az reports.
Leaders and members-activists of more than 15 political parties and movements for the independence of Corsica, Melanesia, Polynesia, a group of Caribbean and Antilles islands affected by French colonialism took part in the preparation of the text of the declaration.
Under the organisation of the People's Association for the Liberation of Guadeloupe and with the support of the Baku Initiative Group, they discussed ways to unite even more closely in the struggle for independence, coordinate result-oriented actions to defeat French colonialism by creating a united platform.
The participants expressed confidence that the Baku Declaration will help them to fight more effectively against French neo-colonialism, for justice and independence from Paris.
