Lebanon launches several aerial targets at Israel No casualties reported
Israel's air defence system has intercepted some of the “suspicious aerial targets” among the aircraft launched from Lebanese territory at the Israeli north.
Shells were recorded falling in the area of the Zaura locality in northern Israel, Caliber.Az reports, citing foreign media.
No casualties were reported, the army said.
Between October 9, 2023 and August 6, 2024, Hezbollah launched more than 7,500 rockets and 187 explosive drones at Israel; of those, 1,000 were either misfired or landed in Lebanese and Syrian territory, wounding and killing their own people, according to Jewish Press.
The 6,500 rockets that reached Israeli territory wreaked untold damage and stole the lives of 44 people, including 20 soldiers and 23 civilians (one citizen of India among them). Eight victims were children ages seven to 13, and four were ages 14 to 19. Another 258 were wounded in the attacks, including 119 civilians and 139 soldiers.
