15 August 2022 13:28
Liquefied natural gas (LNG) supply to Europe decreased by 10 per cent in August compared to July, the lowest level since February 2022.
According to Gas Infrastructure Europe, LNG terminals in Europe reduced their productivity to 62 per cent in August compared to 69 per cent in July, Interfax reports.
The main reason was the temporary shutdown of the Adriatic LNG terminal in Italy for maintenance.
The use of the capacity of the EU LNG terminals has decreased to 58 per cent for six months.
