Lukashenko says Belarus has weapons to defend “from Brest to Vladivostok”
Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has stated that his country poses no threat to anyone but possesses the means to defend itself.
During a public address, he said they have such weapons to fully protect Belarus “from Brest to Vladivostok”, Caliber.Az reports, citing a Telegram channel Pul Pervogo.
“We will do this in every possible way. This is the only demonstration from our side. If we have something in our hands, we must use it,” the Belarusian leader added.
Lukashenko, earlier, visited a military drill involving nuclear weapons and the Iskander-M launch system in the Osipovichi district, saying that when he was younger, he "used to dream of this machine."
During the visit, he was briefed on training exercises involving units practising the use of nuclear weapons and the support of related operations.
The drills are being conducted in coordination with the Russian side.
