Macron announces adoption of law to accelerate France restoration

French President Emmanuel Macron said at a meeting with mayors at the Élysée Palace that a special law would soon be introduced to speed up the country's recovery from the riots.

‘This was announced on July 4 by the BFMTV channel, TASS reports.

"We will introduce a special law in order to avoid delays and resort to an accelerated procedure for the restoration of the country in a short time," Macron told the heads of communes.

According to the channel, the mayors of 241 French communes took part in the meeting. They discussed issues related to the situation in the suburbs, the causes of violence, ensuring security and bringing the rioters to justice.
