Macron expresses condolences after death of French photojournalist in Ukraine
French President Emmanuel Macron has paid tribute to photojournalist Antoni Lallican, who was killed while covering the conflict in Ukraine.
Macron expressed his condolences to Lallican’s family, loved ones, and colleagues in a post in Ukrainian on X, Caliber.Az reports.
The French president acknowledged the dangers journalists face in reporting from war zones.

Lallican, 37, died on October 3 in the Druzhkovka area as a result of a drone strike, a fact confirmed by French authorities and the International Federation of Journalists. He had been accompanying Ukrainian military personnel on the front lines when the attack occurred.
