Massive Russian attacks hit Zaporizhzhia region, multiple civilians injured
Russian forces carried out a large-scale assault on Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia district, leaving a 71-year-old woman and three men aged 44, 47, and 50 injured, regional authorities reported.
Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia regional administration, said that over the course of a single day, Russian troops launched 729 attacks across 25 settlements in the region.
Authorities also reported 36 incidents of damage to residential buildings, vehicles, and critical infrastructure, with emergency services actively responding.
According to Fedorov, the strikes included:

4 missile attacks targeting Znachkovo;

22 air raids on Magdalinovka, Kosovtseve, Ternovate, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Pryluky, and Luhovske;

435 UAV strikes, mainly FPV drones, on Malokaterinivka, Belenke, Hryhorivka, Znachkovo, Maryivka, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepne, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Novoandreivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charyvne, Bilohirya, Varvarivka, Pryvolne, Sladke, and Rozhdestvenka;

5 multiple rocket launcher attacks on Prymorske, Huliaipole, and Sladke;

263 artillery strikes targeting Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepne, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Novoandreivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charyvne, Bilohirya, Varvarivka, Pryvolne, and Sladke.
“The 36 reported cases involve damage to homes, vehicles, and infrastructure,” Fedorov added.
The attacks occurred overnight on December 6, prompting the Ukrainian Air Force to issue warnings of missile threats following the deployment of MiG-31K aircraft. Explosions were reported in Chernihiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kyiv, and surrounding areas.
