Media: Gunman kills six in mosque attack in Syria’s Hama province

At least six people were killed and 12 others wounded in a deadly shooting at a mosque in Syria’s Hama province.

The attack took place in the village of Hayalin, where a gunman on a motorcycle opened fire on a gathering of Muslim worshippers near a local mosque, Caliber.Az reports, citing Lebanese media.

Authorities have launched a manhunt for the perpetrator, while emergency services are providing medical assistance to the injured.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far, and security forces have begun an investigation into the incident.
