Media: Russian forces strike Kyiv with ballistic missiles, killing two PHOTO
Russian forces have launched a missile attack on Kyiv, killing two people and injuring seven, according to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service. The consequences of the attack were recorded in five districts of the capital.
The Kyiv City Military Administration reported explosions across the city, with debris falling on residential buildings in two districts and damaging a car. Ukraine’s Air Force warned that cruise missiles had also been launched.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said six people were initially reported injured, with three hospitalised and three treated on an outpatient basis. Fires broke out at an educational facility in the Holosiivskyi district and in non-residential areas of the Podilskyi and Darnytskyi districts, where garages and cars caught fire.
