Media: Syrian forces strike Hezbollah depot in fierce border clash, several killed Video
Clashes have been reported for several hours along the Syrian-Lebanese border, as Syrian forces engage in periodic confrontations with Hezbollah militants.
Thus, Syrian army launched an artillery strike, resulting in the destruction of a Hezbollah ammunition depot located in Lebanese territory, Caliber.Az reports per Al Arabiya.

In the wake of these skirmishes, one Syrian soldier has been killed, with several others suffering injuries. Reports also indicate that six Hezbollah fighters have been killed, while two others were captured.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese army has confirmed it is in contact with Syrian authorities to maintain security along the border. In a statement, the Lebanese military revealed that it had taken exceptional measures following the killing of two Syrians near the border and reinforced its deployment to ensure safety in the region.
Further reports suggest that Lebanese villages have come under fire from Syrian territory, prompting a retaliatory response from Lebanese forces. The Lebanese army also confirmed the transfer of the bodies of three Syrians to Syrian authorities.
