Media: Ukraine sees nearly 20 armed attacks tied to draft resistance this year
Since the beginning of the year, at least 19 cases of the use of firearms, bladed weapons, and grenades during resistance to mobilisation activities have been recorded in Ukraine, according to calculations by TASS based on data from law enforcement agencies and Ukrainian media.
The reports say that at least three officers of territorial recruitment centres (TCC — equivalent to military enlistment offices) were killed in such incidents.
Among the cited cases is an incident in Lviv on April 2, when a military representative was allegedly fatally stabbed on the street during mobilisation activities. In Cherkasy on February 10, a man allegedly threw a grenade at TCC officers, while in the Rivne region on May 1, a case involving the use of firearms was reported.
It is also noted that, according to Ukraine’s National Police, at least 300 attacks on TCC personnel have been recorded since the beginning of the year, with cold weapons used in most cases.
