Mediators report “constructive progress” in overnight US-Iran talks
Intensive negotiations on the implementation of a U.S.-Iran memorandum of understanding continued overnight in Switzerland, with representatives of the United States and Iran meeting alongside international mediators, according to the Swiss Foreign Ministry.
In a statement, the Swiss coordinator said it “welcomes the constructive progress achieved during the intensive diplomatic negotiations that continued throughout the night of June 21–22 in Bürgenstock between the mediators, Iran, and the United States," foreign media reports.
The ministry added that Switzerland remains ready to support the process “in accordance with its tradition of good offices,” reaffirming its role as a facilitator in international diplomatic efforts.
