Meshali genocide victim says Khachaturyan was separatist Balasanyan's crony
The victims of the Meshali genocide keep testifying at the court trial of Armenian war criminal Vagif Khachaturyan.
"Some 1,500 people led by Vagif, including Armenians from Badara village and other Armenian militants, attacked Meshali. In the course of these events, my parents were killed," Nadir Akberov, a resident of Meshali, said, according to APA.
He said that the attack on the village was committed in the morning: "You Vagif, the main criminal, killed people in Meshali, Khojaly. Vagif was called 'Vagi'." During the events, a loudspeaker in Azerbaijani urged us to leave the village. Even those who tried to get out were shot at. This Vagif will not admit it now, but he was among those who attacked not only Meshali but also Maiybeyli, Gushchular and other Azerbaijani villages. In Askeran, together with Vitaly Balasanyan, he exchanged Khojaly captives. He was one of Vitaly's cronies. They shot at everyone - children, women. I ask you to sentence him to life imprisonment".
