Michel: EU Council takes swift action against Iran

The EU Council has adopted further sanctions against Iran "in record time" amidst Teheran’s military assistance to Russia, the president of the European organization, Charles Michel, announced on October 20 through his official Twitter page.

“We take swift action against Iran who supports Russia’s war in Ukraine”, Michel wrote, adding “I welcome the EU Council’s decision to adopt in record time restrictive measures against those in Iran who provide military support to Russia”.
