Minister: Hungary plans to receive about 5 million tons of oil from Russia

Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó announced that in 2025, the country plans to receive between 4.5 and 5 million tons of oil from Russia.
In 2024, Russia supplied 4.78 million tons of oil to Hungary via the Druzhba pipeline, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.
According to Szijjártó, Hungary expects to receive a similar volume of oil next year.
On March 26, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak met with Péter Szijjártó to discuss the expansion of Russian-Hungarian cooperation in oil, gas, and energy projects.
