More than 25 countries establish global AI cooperation organisation
Russia, China and more than 25 other countries have signed an agreement establishing the World Organisation for Cooperation in Artificial Intelligence.
The signing ceremony took place in Shanghai ahead of the opening of the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC), Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
The conference is set to begin on July 17 and run through July 20, with Chinese President Xi Jinping expected to deliver a keynote address at the opening ceremony.
The World Artificial Intelligence Conference and the High-Level Conference on Global AI Governance will be held in Shanghai under the theme: Intelligent Partners – Co-Creating the Future.
During his speech, Xi is expected to outline Beijing's policies, position, vision and proposals regarding the development and governance of artificial intelligence.
