02 February 2026 17:59
A recent survey by Kyiv International Institute of Sociology, a Ukrainian research centre conducting public opinion polls and social research, shows that 40% of Ukrainians are willing to consider withdrawing troops from Donbas to help end the war.
Support for such measures has risen slightly in January, with 9% saying they are “easily in favour” and 31% “generally in favour.”

At the same time, 52% of respondents are firmly against any territorial concessions, while 7% remain undecided.
