Netanyahu vows shock response if Iran attacks Israel “We are prepared for any scenario”
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned that Israel is prepared to deliver a response beyond their imagination if Iran attacks the Jewish state.
Speaking at a graduation ceremony for combat officers, Netanyahu stated that Israel is prepared for any scenario, Caliber.Az reports via Israeli media.
“And one thing is certain — if the ayatollahs make a mistake and attack us, they will face a response they can’t even imagine,” PM noted.
Netanyahu stressed that Israel is working alongside its major ally, the United States, to confront the Iranian threat.
In his meeting last week in Washington with US President Donald Trump, the PM mentioned that he had presented him with “Israel’s position on the guiding principles for any talks with Iran.”
Regional tensions have escalated in recent days, with the US sending its largest naval and air force deployment to the area since 2003. Although the US and Iran have conducted two rounds of nuclear talks in recent weeks, the White House has indicated that significant differences remain.
Earlier, Trump said that he expected to make a decision on Iran within the next 10 days.
