North Korea reportedly launches ballistic missile — Japanese PM’s office

North Korea is believed to have launched a ballistic missile, according to a statement from the office of Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi on X.
“A ballistic missile was reportedly launched from North Korea. We will provide updates as additional information becomes available,” the statement said.

The direction of the missile launch was not specified. The Prime Minister urged authorities to make every effort to gather and analyse information, promptly provide accurate information to the public, ensure the safety of aircraft and ships, and take all possible measures to prepare for unforeseen situations.
