North Korea threatens Japan with collapse over militarisation plans
11 January 2026 10:10
Japan’s militarisation plans pose a threat to regional and global security and could lead to the “complete destruction” of the country,
Tokyo intends to increase defence spending, revise the “three non-nuclear principles,” lift restrictions on arms exports, and develop offensive capabilities, Caliber.Az reports per North Korean media.
Japan’s military spending has reportedly reached its highest level in 12 years.
The current administration is effectively abandoning the image of a “peaceful state” and aims to transform the country into a nuclear power.
The new militarism, which began under Shinzo Abe’s rule, threatens global stability and the fate of humanity.
