One killed, six injured in Russian shelling of Ukraine’s Kherson region
At least one person has been killed and six others injured following Russian shelling in Ukraine’s southern Kherson region.
According to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the regional military administration, Russian forces targeted both critical and civilian infrastructure across several settlements. The attacks damaged a multi-storey residential building and at least 10 private homes, while also destroying several vehicles, Caliber.Az reports.
“As a result of the Russian aggression, one person was killed and six others were injured,” Prokudin said in a statement on Telegram.
Authorities added that evacuation efforts are ongoing in the region. One day earlier, two residents were evacuated from recently liberated communities amid continued security risks.
