The OSCE representatives are observing the snap presidential elections in Azerbaijan.

The delegation of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (OSCE/ODIHR) and the delegation of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (PA) monitored the elections in the liberated Azerbaijani lands, APA reports.

OSCE/ODIHR observers Larn Nyholm (Denmark) and Evgeny Loginov (Russia) visited district election commissions and polling stations in Aghdam, Fuzuli, Shusha and Khankendi.

Head of the OSCE PA delegation Artur Gerasimov and OSCE PA staff member Tim Knoblau also observed the elections in Shusha, Khankendi and other territories.

More than 300 observers of the OSCE mission are monitoring the process of the snap presidential election in Azerbaijan, OSCE Special Coordinator Artur Gerasymov told reporters, according to secki-2024.az.

"The OSCE Mission to Azerbaijan is assessing how well the election is organized in accordance with the standards contained in the 1990 Copenhagen Document. All our observers have undergone very good training," Gerasymov added.

The presidential elections are being held in Azerbaijan on February 7.
