Over 30 Azerbaijani companies join international business forum in Uzbekistan
More than 30 Azerbaijani companies are participating in the Great Silk Road Business Cooperation Forum – 2025, an international business event being held in Uzbekistan’s Tashkent region.
According to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, the forum has brought together entrepreneurs from Central Asia and Azerbaijan on a unified business platform, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
“The goal of the forum is to elevate regional economic integration to a new level, expand trade relations, and strengthen direct dialogue between business communities. The event is attended by over 300 representatives from ministries, chambers of commerce, major companies, and the private sector of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Azerbaijan,” the chamber noted.
Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), Yusif Abdullayev, highlighted that the forum offers new opportunities for entrepreneurs from participating countries to discuss prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation.
“More than 30 Azerbaijani companies representing a wide range of industries are taking part in the forum. The planned opening of Azerbaijan’s Trade Mission in Uzbekistan — whose activities will also extend to other Central Asian countries — will create new opportunities for expanding economic cooperation,” Abdullayev said.
