Over 600 attacks target Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region, killing one, injuring four
Russian strikes on Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia district have left one person dead and four injured, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, said.
Writing on Telegram, Fedorov noted that over the past 24 hours, 636 attacks had targeted 29 settlements across the region. Russian forces carried out 16 airstrikes on populated areas and launched 378 drones of various types, mostly FPV drones, Caliber.Az reports.
Additionally, six strikes from multiple rocket launchers and 236 artillery attacks were recorded across several settlements. Authorities reported 26 claims of damage to homes, vehicles, and infrastructure.
Meanwhile, in Odesa, a Russian drone attack damaged an infrastructure facility and caused a fire, according to local authorities cited by ASTRA.
Serhii Lysak, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, said that emergency teams are working to contain the situation. No casualties have been reported, and officials are inspecting surrounding areas for damage to residential and civilian infrastructure.
