Pakistan, Egypt foreign ministers discuss cooperation development

Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has held a phone call with his Egyptian counterpart Badr Abdelatty to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation.

During the talks, the sides reaffirmed their commitment to further developing cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including expanding high-level contacts and institutional engagement, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The ministry said, in a post on X, the two diplomats also exchanged views on regional and international issues.

"The two leaders reaffirmed the close and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Egypt and expressed their shared commitment to further strengthening cooperation across all areas of mutual interest, including through enhanced high-level exchanges and close institutional engagement," it noted.
