Pakistan, Egypt weigh implications of US–Iran memorandum proposal
Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar discussed recent agreements between the United States and Iran during a phone call with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry said.
The ministry stated that the two top diplomats exchanged views on the recent understandings reached between Washington and Tehran, as well as the upcoming signing of a memorandum of understanding scheduled for Friday, June 19, in Bürgenstock, Switzerland.
“They also discussed preparations for the upcoming Regional Four (R-4) Foreign Ministers’ meeting later this month and agreed to remain in close contact,” the ministry’s statement read.
Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar @MIshaqDar50 held a telephone conversation with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty.
