Pakistan, Qatar hold talks on peace pathways in Middle East
Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a phone conversation with Qatar’s Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, discussing the current situation in the Middle East and mediation efforts aimed at maintaining regional stability.
“We exchanged views on our bilateral cooperation and the evolving situation in the Middle East, particularly the ongoing Pakistan-led peace efforts.
We reaffirmed our steadfast commitment to dialogue and diplomacy as the only path to lasting peace and stability,” Sharif said in a post on the social media platform X.
