Palestine wants to establish healthcare cooperation with Azerbaijan, envoy says
Ahmed Metani, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Azerbaijan, has expressed Palestine's interest in establishing effective cooperation with Baku in the healthcare sector during a meeting at the Azerbaijani Ministry of Health on September 1.
Welcoming the guest, Musayev emphasised the crucial role of national leaders in developing bilateral relations, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Ministry of Health’s Media and Communications Department.
Musayev expressed satisfaction with the effective cooperation between Azerbaijan and Palestine both bilaterally and within international organisations, including the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and the Non-Aligned Movement.
Musayev also highlighted the potential for further cooperation between Azerbaijan and Palestine in the healthcare sector and expressed hope for the continued strengthening of ties.
In turn, Ambassador Metani thanked Azerbaijan for the humanitarian aid provided to Palestine. He noted that the two countries share historical and traditionally friendly relations: “Azerbaijan-Palestine relations are successfully developing on the principles of solidarity, friendship, and mutual respect.”
The meeting concluded with an exchange of views on other issues of mutual interest.
