Pashinyan reaffirms Armenia's commitment to stable ties with Russia
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that Armenia has no intention of provoking a crisis in its relations with Russia, while reaffirming the country's commitment to strengthening ties with the European Union.
Speaking at a joint briefing with EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Pashinyan emphasized that maintaining stable relations with Moscow remains an important objective for Yerevan, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
"We have never sought, do not seek, and will never seek to create a crisis in Armenia's relations with Russia," he said.
Pashinyan noted that Armenia takes into account the interests of all its international partners but cannot place the interests of other countries above its own national interests.
At the same time, the Armenian prime minister reaffirmed that closer integration with the European Union remains one of the country's strategic priorities.
