PKK/YPG terrorists become active in Syria's Aleppo province VIDEO
After clashes with the Syrian army in the Deir Hafer area in the eastern countryside of Aleppo province, the PKK/YPG terrorist organisation has deployed reinforcements to the region.
According to Syria.tv, while Syrian security forces continue operations to establish control over the Druze-populated Suwayda region in the south of the country against local armed groups, the PKK/YPG has also mobilised its forces in Aleppo province.
Militants of the terrorist group clashed with the Syrian army around midday in the Deir Hafer area, located on the road to Raqqa in the eastern part of Aleppo province, which aligns with the southern axis of Manbij.
After several hours of fighting, the PKK/YPG reinforced its Deir Hafer line from the direction of Raqqa.
Approximately 150 pickup trucks equipped with anti-aircraft guns from the terrorist organisation’s “17th Brigade Headquarters” in Raqqa arrived at the group's frontline positions in rural Aleppo in the evening.
The area receiving these reinforcements continues to witness periodic clashes between the PKK/YPG and forces affiliated with the Ministry of Defence.
