Poland raises air defences, scrambles jets amid Russian activity

Polish military jets were scrambled in response to suspected Russian activity over Ukraine, the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces announced on its X account.

The statement noted that ground-based air defence systems and radar reconnaissance units were also placed on heightened alert, Caliber.Az reports.

Polish military officials emphasised that these measures are precautionary, aimed at ensuring the security of territories bordering vulnerable areas.
