Poland ready to accept up to 5,000 US troops redeployed from Germany

Poland is ready to receive up to 5,000 US soldiers from Germany, Deputy Foreign Minister Ignacy Niemczycki said in an interview with RMF FM radio.

“Strengthening of this kind would be beneficial for us. Of course, we would be ready for it,” Niemczycki stressed.

According to the deputy foreign minister, the country is prepared to rapidly expand the necessary infrastructure for such a deployment.

“On our side, there is full readiness to accommodate an additional contingent of American soldiers,” he added.
