Poland to strengthen eastern border control
Poland's Minister of the Interior and Administration Tomasz Siemoniak has announced that Poland will strengthen its border control on the eastern frontier due to increased Russian military activity in Ukraine.
"This is a revolutionary project that will transform the civil protection system," said the Polish official enthusiastically, promising to invest billions of zlotys into the initiative, Caliber.Az reports citing the Russian media.
Previously, Russian leader Vladimir Putin dismissed as complete nonsense the speculation about Russia's desire to attack Europe. The Russian leader emphasized that the deterioration of relations between Russia and the EU, as well as several European countries, is not Moscow's fault.
US journalist Tucker Carlson also considers the claims of a potential Russian attack on Europe to be absurd. He believes that any statements from the US government suggesting that President Putin plans to invade Europe are entirely unfounded.
