Police officers have detained two more suspects in an armed attack on Samad Vurgun Street in the centre of Azerbaijan’s capital Baku, thus, the number of detainees reached 3.
The names of the detainees have not been disclosed as the investigation is underway, the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry told Caliber.Az.
“A pistol – the weapon of the crime, was found and seized. Thoughts expressed on social networks about the crime do not reflect reality and are unfounded. After the search measures, the public will be provided with additional information,” the Interior Ministry added.

A 4th-year student of the Military Medicine Faculty of the Azerbaijan Medical University Fagan Rahimli was wounded during an armed incident that occurred today on Samed Vurgun Street in the Nasimi district of Baku.
According to Oxu.Az, the due information was released by the head of the university press service Gunel Aslanova.
According to her, the young man attended the classes at 08:30 and 10:30 and left the building at 12:00 as scheduled.
