12 February 2024 15:13
Polish General Jaroslaw Kraszewski has said that the resignation of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Valerii Zaluzhnyi will hit the Ukrainian army.
"Soldiers saw Zaluzhnyi as a real leader and his resignation will affect their morale," Krashevsky told the website of RMF FM radio station.
He noted that the resignation showed the weakness of the authorities.
On February 8, the website of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy published a decree on the removal of the military commander from the post of commander-in-chief of the country's army. On the same day, the head of state announced that Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi would replace Valerii Zaluzhnyi in the said post.
