President Aliyev honours Turkish counterpart's birthday with personal phone call

On February 26, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev held a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Domestic media reports that during the call, the Azerbaijani head of state congratulated President Erdoğan on the occasion of his birthday, conveying his wishes for long life, robust health, and continued success in his state activities.

President Erdoğan expressed his sincere appreciation for the attention and warm congratulations extended to him.

The two leaders also exchanged views on upcoming contacts and discussed prospects for further engagement between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
