Presidential aide Hajiyev discusses COP29 with leaders of Nizami Ganjavi International Centre

Azerbaijani presidential aide Hikmet Hajiyev has held a meeting with members of the Board of Directors of the Nizami Ganjavi International Centre (NGIC).

“A productive meeting was held between the Board of Directors of the Nizami Ganjavi International Centre and Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan. During the discussions, we reflected on the achievements of COP29's first week and exchanged views on preparations for the pivotal second week. Progress and collaboration are the driving forces of global action!” NGIC wrote on X platform, per Caliber.Az.

Note that, Nizami Ganjavi International Centre, based in Azerbaijan, is a prominent institution dedicated to honouring the legacy of the renowned Azerbaijani poet and philosopher, Nizami Ganjavi. The Centre actively seeks to address contemporary global challenges by engaging distinguished figures from around the world in efforts to foster knowledge, tolerance, dialogue, understanding, and shared societies across cultures and nations.

Founded on September 30, 2012, in Azerbaijan, the NGIC operates under the guidance of an esteemed International Board comprising respected global leaders and experts. These individuals generously contribute their time and expertise to advance the Centre’s mission and initiatives.

Through its work, the NGIC continues to serve as a platform for promoting cross-cultural collaboration and finding innovative solutions to pressing global issues.
