Putin hosts Chinese premier at Kremlin for strategic talks
Russian President Vladimir Putin meets with Li Qiang, Chairman of the State Council of the People's Republic of China.
The meeting is taking place in the Kremlin, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
Li Qiang came to Russia at the invitation of his colleague Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
Before meeting with the Russian leader, the two premiers held the 29th regular meeting of the heads of the Russian and Chinese governments, discussing the expansion of trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation. Emphasis was placed on promoting joint projects in industry, energy, agriculture and transport.
The last time Putin and Li Qiang met was in May during the Russian leader's state visit to China. At that time, the Russian president noted that the Chinese premier was welcome in Moscow.
