Bayraktar TB3 UAV: Successful firing test sets new standards VIDEO
In a groundbreaking achievement, the Turkish drone manufacturer Baykar successfully completed the first firing test of its Bayraktar TB3 RT-3 attack drone, known for its innovative folding-wing design.
Sharing the news on its X social media page, Baykar revealed impressive details of the test, per Caliber.Az.
The Bayraktar TB3 utilized the Aselsan ASELFLIR-500 electro-optical system to identify and mark its target. In a stunning display of precision, ROKETSAN's MAM-T mini-smart munitions obliterated the marked target with pinpoint accuracy.

The firing test follows the drone's historic feat on November 19, 2024, when the Bayraktar TB3 became the first of its kind to successfully launch from the short runway of the TCG Anadolu. This milestone flight spanned 46 minutes, soaring over the convergence of the Aegean and Mediterranean Seas, before completing a seamless landing without the need for auxiliary equipment.
The pioneering UAV further proved its capabilities during a second successful test flight near Çanakkale’s coastline, solidifying its reputation as a game-changer in drone technology.
The journey is far from over, as Baykar continues the TB3’s rigorous testing phase, integrating advanced payloads and munitions to refine its combat readiness. The Bayraktar TB3 stands poised to redefine UAV capabilities on both land and sea, marking a new era in modern warfare.
