Putin invites Turkmen counterpart to Moscow
Russian President Vladimir Putin has invited his Turkmen counterpart Serdar Berdimuhamedow to take part in the celebrations dedicated to the celebration of 78th anniversary of the Victory, which is planned to be held in Moscow.
In a telephone conversation between the leaders of the countries, Putin and Berdimuhamedow congratulated each other on the upcoming Victory Day, and also wished well-being and prosperity to the peoples of both countries, Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reports.
According to the newspaper, the head of Turkmenistan thanked Putin for the invitation. It is not specified whether the Turkmen leader will accept the invitation or not.
Putin and Berdimuhamedow also discussed some other issues of cooperation between the countries.
