Qatar denies reports of oil pollution on its coastline
Qatar’s Government Communications Office (GCO) has stated that information circulating on social media claiming that oil spilt in the Persian Gulf has reached the country’s shores is not true.
In a statement shared on its social media platforms, GCO added that monitoring operations and field inspections are continuing in coordination with relevant authorities.

It urged the public to rely solely on official sources for information and refrain from circulating rumours or unverified reports.
