Qatar partially resumes air traffic via emergency routes
The Qatar Civil Aviation Authority has announced the partial resumption of air traffic in Qatar using designated emergency routes with limited capacity.
According to Qatar News Agency, the decision was made in full coordination with the Qatar Armed Forces and other relevant state authorities.
During this phase, a limited number of passenger and cargo flights will operate in order to ensure the continuity of essential aviation services amid the tense situation in the region.
The aviation authority said it remains on heightened alert and continues to coordinate closely with relevant agencies to ensure the safety of passengers and aviation personnel, while maintaining safe and efficient air traffic in accordance with international standards.
The agency also said it is closely monitoring developments and will promptly inform the public and aviation partners about any changes.
Passengers with confirmed bookings are advised to follow updates from their airlines. Regular flights to and from Doha will resume once the country’s airspace is officially reopened.
