Qatar’s armed forces intercept 13 Iranian missiles

Qatar’s armed forces repelled a massive missile attack from Iran on March 5, intercepting 13 ballistic missiles, while one fell into the country’s territorial waters, the Ministry of Defence announced on social media.

“The State of Qatar was subjected to multiple missile attacks involving 14 ballistic missiles and 4 drones launched from the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran,” the post read.

According to the military statement, Qatar’s air defence successfully intercepted 13 missiles, with one landing in territorial waters, and all four drones were destroyed. No casualties were reported from the strikes.
